The plastic problem may seem daunting, but every small action counts. By avoiding purchasing plastic products at every opportunity, we’re not only sending a message to plastic producers that their products are no longer acceptable, we’re also encouraging innovation and opportunity to those businesses and makers, large or small, who are producing and purveying plastic-free products.

New Paltz Climate Action Coalition has made a wonderful Google map to local businesses that are tiffin-friendly or offer products in sustainable packaging. You can find that here.
